Thouis "Ray" Jones

I am a Senior Computational Biologist at the Broad Institute, working in the group of Eric Lander.

Previous work:

Connectomics at Harvard SEAS & MCB in the groups of Hanspeter Pfister and Jeff Lichtman
High-throughput Image-based Screening at The Broad Insitute in the Imaging Platform under the direction of Anne Carpenter, and at the Insitut Curie in the BioPhenics platform, as well as for my PhD work at MIT CSAIL under the direction of Polina Golland and David Sabtini (of the Whitehead Institute).
Computer graphics in the MIT CSAIL graphics group with Frédo Durand, as well as at Mitsubishi Eletric Research Laboratories.

Research interests:

Regulatory structure of the genome.
Deep learning applied to genomic information.
Automatic Image Cytometry
(For the most part, I no longer do research in computer graphics.)
